Ivona M. Perecman is a real estate attorney licensed to practice law in the State of New York and a Licensed Real Estate Broker specializing in luxury Sales and Rentals in Manhattan. Prior to starting her real estate career, Ivona M. Perecman successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil litigation matters. This experience gave her a unique ability to truly see both sides of every legal issue and, above all, taught her the most important lesson every seasoned trial attorney must learn: how to avoid litigation in the first place. In the real estate filed, this translates into carefully reviewing the Sale Contract, anticipating potential problems, and negotiating the terms so that there is no need for litigation and the client’s rights are protected to the fullest.
Ms. Perecman attended New York Law, where she received a meritorious scholarship and was Law Review Editor and a member of the Dean’s List. She graduated in the top 5% of her class and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2004. Ms. Perecman is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association and Animal Legal Defense Fund.
